FOR HIRE
A village hall for weddings, parties and meetings.
ABOUT THE HALL
Standish Village Hall is a historic venue combining medieval character with modern facilities.
Originally built in the 14th century, the building has been carefully refurbished to provide a comfortable and flexible event space while preserving its historic charm.
Located beside St Nicholas Church in the heart of Standish, the hall continues a tradition of community gatherings that dates back over 700 years.
The venue was even featured on Channel 4’s Time Team during excavations searching for a Roman villa nearby.

Access: please note
The Hall is on the first floor, reached by steep, narrow stairs with a 180-degree bend, and it has no separate emergency exit for disabled visitors, as the fire escape also has steps. A stair lift is available, but it isn't suitable for those with severe mobility impairment—we recommend visiting beforehand if this is a concern.
Toilets are on the ground floor.
